Clear plastic sheeting is flame and heat-resistant. Perspex® clear material does well in temperatures below 80-85°C. Clear acrylic Perspex® has a Class 4 or 3 Fire Rating, depending on thickness.
This means you can use a clear plastic sheet for a cut to size kitchen splashback. All you need to do is make sure it is not exposed to open flames. Clear sheeting is also suitable for bathroom panels.
